I am a single mom to four beautiful children. My oldest are twins who live away from home at college. It is hard to have them gone!
I love dogs! At this time we have a lovebird (who is a terror!) but not a dog. We are hoping to get a dog this spring.
Jesus is my Saviour and I am blessed with a personal relationship that continues to grow every year.
I also love dark chocolate. The darker the better. Dark chocolate, dark chocolate brownies, ganache, mousse - just dark chocolate! I'm trying to be better about eating it in moderation :)
I am a prolific writer and product creator. I have done ghost writing in the past but no longer have the time to incorporate that into my day.
When I was growing up (I have not yet arrived . . . ) I got two master's degrees in nursing. The last was as a nurse practitioner. I worked with children who had suffered a head injury or spinal cord injury. I enjoyed my work but wanted to stay home with my children.
After the divorce, it was more important to me that I stay home and care for my children. It has not always been easy and there are some months when I wonder how I will pull it all off - but somehow it all comes together.
The great thing is that you can do it too. There are ways of pulling it together by becoming more organized, finding work at home or learning new skills.
One of the reasons I went from being a nurse to a nurse practitioner is because I love teaching - and that hasn't changed. If you would like to work with with me, use the Help Desk and let me know what you need.

New Living Translation (NLT)
Faith Brings Joy
5 Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
Faith in Jesus Christ brings joy that is lasting, well above what any circumstances can bring.
